    Discussion around regional collaborations, including energy hub and the Tri-State Shale Coalition

    Discussion with Ohio Governor John Kasich regarding regional collaborations and cooperation as well as the Tri-State Shale Coalition. The Tri-State Shale Coalition is a regional effort on behalf of stakeholders from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia to collaborate in aligning, developing, and promoting their shale industries. The organization was founded in 2016 and has been working to elevate four focus areas in the region: transportation & infrastructure, research & innovation, workforce & education, and marketing & promotion. WVU has been heavily involved as a leader in Transportation and Infrastructure and Research.
